Capabilities
What DeskDev does
A web operator, not a project marketplace. DeskDev takes responsibility for the whole online presence of a service business under one fixed-scope agreement.
One operator. The whole web presence.
Design, build, copy, hosting, lead capture, and ongoing care are delivered together, by the same accountable person, on the same production system. That is what lets a fixed price stay fixed and a ten-business-day timeline stay honest.
Design and build
Named packages on modern infrastructure, laid out for how customers actually shop for a contractor, a property service, or a barn.
Copy and local search
Service and service-area pages written to convert, plus Google Business Profile cleanup so the phone rings from the map as well as the site.
Lead systems
Quote forms, click-to-call, a portal leads inbox on Service Pro+, and a Calendly-class booking link when that add-on is in scope.
Care and visibility
Hosting, monitoring, a defined monthly edit allowance, and visibility basics inside Care Essential, Active, or Intensive.
Capabilities, end to end
Every capability below is delivered inside a named DeskDev Sites package — there is no à-la-carte menu to assemble and nothing to configure yourself.
- Named website packagesLanding, Brochure, Service Pro, Showcase, Firm, Venue, Food Service, and Custom.
- Site ElementsThe modules buyers care about — gallery, offerings, menu, contact, hours, team, service areas.

- Search-ready page structurePages and content built to be found in search — visibility basics, not a directory page mill.
- Google Business Profile cleanupCategories, hours, service areas, and photos aligned with the site.

Not sure which package fits?
Start with a consultation and we'll recommend one.
Including Landing or Brochure when Service Pro would be more than you need. One written proposal, one price, no configurator to figure out.

DeskDev Sites
DeskDev Sites designs, builds, and runs named website packages for home, property, trades, equine, and local service businesses in the Collingwood area and across Ontario.
Named packages. One written proposal. Live in 10 business days.
Landing is one page, one offer. Brochure is a clean multi-page home base. Service Pro — the package we recommend for trades — adds service detail pages, service areas, and a strong quote path. Showcase leads with gallery. Firm, Venue, and Food Service complete the named set; Custom is the escape hatch.
Every DeskDev site includes your Client portal. Care Essential, Active, or Intensive starts on launch day. Add-ons (Local presence, Reviews, Visibility, Email, Booking) stack when they fit.
How engagements work
From consultation to launch in five steps.
Every engagement runs the same way, whichever package fits. Payment is structured 50% to begin, 40% at staging approval, and 10% at launch. Monthly Care plans run on a 6-month minimum.
- Step 01
Consultation
You tell us your trade, your service area, and what the site needs to do. We ask the questions that decide the package.
- Step 02
Written proposal
Your package, Care plan, any add-ons, timeline, and price — the whole cost before you commit to anything.
- Step 03
Structured intake
Services, service areas, licensing, photos, and proof, collected once. Content and setup are the work, so this is where the clock starts.
- Step 04
Build and staging review
We produce the site on our production system while you keep working, then you confirm every fact on a private staging link.
- Step 05
Launch and care
Live in 10 business days from a complete intake, with hosting, monitoring, a defined edit allowance, and visibility basics from day one.
Why DeskDev
Built to be accountable
Four commitments that shape every proposal, build, and care plan.
One accountable operator
The person who scopes your project builds it, launches it, and answers for it afterward. No account managers, no hand-offs, no agency queue.
A fixed price, in writing
Every package is a defined configuration. The proposal is the price. Attaches and extras are quoted separately, in writing, before work starts.
Business days, not quarters
Because scope is fixed and production runs on one system, launch is measured in business days from a complete intake — ten of them.
Facts, not claims
We never invent claims about your business, and we don’t make them about ours. You confirm every statement before it goes live, and reporting stays in plain language.

About DeskDev
An Ontario web operator serving the Collingwood area first.
DeskDev is an Ontario web operator. We design, build, and run named website packages for service businesses, starting in the Collingwood area and working across the province.
Most service businesses don’t need an agency and shouldn’t have to become their own web team. They need a site that is accurate, fast, and built to make the phone ring — and someone accountable for keeping it that way.
That is the whole operating model. A published set of named packages, Care plans, and add-ons. One operator who scopes, builds, launches, and maintains. And a single production system that turns a structured intake into a launched site in 10 business days.
Consultation first
Every engagement starts with a conversation and a written proposal. There is no self-serve builder, because a fixed price is only honest when a person has confirmed the scope.
One production system
Intake, build, staging review, launch, and Care all run through the same system. That is how a small operator keeps timelines short and quality consistent.
Tracked from intake to launch
Every request, change, and approval is logged in the client portal, so you always know where your project stands and what happens next.
Start with a consultation.
Tell us your trade, your service area, and what the site needs to do. We follow up with a specific written proposal — usually within two business days.
